I’ve came here three times. I’ve got a little place in Wis and go up there just about every weekend. I’m a big fan of Hot Dogs. So why not try this place. Well, unfortunately, it’s not as good as a Chicago Dog. I was born and raised in Chicago (South Side) and know what a good pizza and Hot Dog is. The biggest thing is the fries. The fries are cut and made fresh with each Chicago Dog. Martino’s uses terrible bag fries. People in Wisconsin don’t know any better. The place should be advertised as Milwaukee Style Hot Dogs. The clerk didn’t even know what "The Garden” even means. I corrected myself and asked for a Chicago Style and she didn’t know what that meant either. Also, the sinks in the bathroom are very annoying.

While I'm not typically a dog enthusiast, this particular dog was impressive. They're famous for their Italian beef and Chicago dogs. Although I didn't sample the Italian beef, the Chicago dog certainly lived up to the hype. The cheese curds were delightful, and the fries were fresh. The onion rings were a bit salty, but that was irrelevant when it came to dessert. If you have a sweet tooth and enjoy bananas, you absolutely must try their banana cake; it brings everything together like a long-lasting marriage! I’ll definitely be returning.

We came in here not knowing that this was on Man vs Food. We found this using Google and since this is a big local recommendation, we just had to try it. We ordered: a foot long Chicago dog, a jumbo Reuben dog (I think they ended up making me a kraut dog instead and honestly, no complaints. It was freaking ), a meatball sandwich (mid as far as meatball sammies go but the meatballs definitely taste homemade so it still scores higher than the average meatball sub), cheese curds (had to have some from the motherland of cheese curds and now I truly ruined myself with this because now the ones in California will never match up to them ), fries and 2 large drinks for a total of $46.42. By California standards, that's a freaking steal. I fully understand why this made it on the travel channel. It's a must stop spot. The food is fantastic and the staff are friendly and helpful. We will be back.

This is one of the best Chicago style places in the city of Milwaukee, where I can enjoy a Chicago style hot dog and it was also on the Food Network channel. The customer service is absolutely amazing fast friendly service. The food is so on point delicious and the atmosphere is great. They are so welcoming replace to enjoy Chicago style, hot dogs and best french fries ultimately I definitely recommend this place over Portillo’s or any other place because they are very authentic and take pride. Please come by and show your support. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

I grew up eating Martino's hot dogs as a kid in the 1980's and 1990's when I would go there with my parents and it was always great and reasonably priced. I have been frequenting again recently about twice a month or so after recently moving back to the area. The staff is always polite, upbeat and professional here even the teenagers that work part time seem to enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there which I can't say for other fast food and grab and go type places. I am pleased to say the hot dogs are still the best in the city and some of their other menu items are certainly worth trying especially the beef sandwiches. Prices have gone up a bit since back in the day but that is pretty much true of most restaurants. I wish they were open a bit later on Saturdays though they close at 4pm for some reason when it seems like they would get much more business stopping in for dinner on the weekend. The bottom line is this is the best place to get Chicago Style Dogs in the metro Milwaukee area in my humble opinion as someone who has dined there for 4 decades.
